In order to place your shipment on our platform you have to enter your shipment data in the first step and select the shipping method that suits you best.
At this point, it is important that you make the right choice when selecting the packaging material and deposit your dimensions including the packaging. Let us know if you want us to transport the lawn tractor packaged or unpackaged/immobilized. If your shipment is heavier than 30 kg, it must be transported on a pallet.
Prepare the lawn tractor for shipping
When transporting lawn tractor, you must remove all fuel and lubricants such as oil before shipping. Once these fluids are drained, it is recommended that you close all openings on the mower before transporting it.
Once your lawn tractor is prepared for transport, you must decide which means of transport to ship it on. It is important that goods from a unit weight of 30 kg fixed on a pallet must be accessible from underneath with a lift truck.
After you have decided on a means of transport, the next step is to package the lawn tractor appropriately for shipment. You will find out how to proceed in concrete terms in the lower part of this page.
The collection of the lawn mower
If you want to transport a lawn tractor, our forwarding agents usually take over your goods from the curb. For this purpose, it is imperative that shipments weighing 30 kg or more are either self-supporting or placed on a pallet for shipping.
Delivery of the lawn mower
Like the collection, the delivery of the lawn tractor is free curbside. Our freight forwarders unload the shipment at the curbside of the delivery address and obtain the signature for acceptance.

Premium delivery
With the Premium delivery, the fastest possible delivery date is selected by default. Alternatively, a later delivery date can be selected during offer configuration.
Premium delivery for Europe-wide shipments
If you want a fixed delivery date for a Europe-wide shipment, it is the last day of the specified regular transit time for the premium delivery option.
Premium delivery for groupage freight
If you request a fixed delivery date, we will store your shipments for up to 3 business days free of charge. These are counted from the last business day of the earliest possible term. For each additional business day, we will charge 5€ per pallet storage space and business day.
Shipping method Direct Loads
The Direct Load is our fastest transport product, as the booked vehicle makes its way to the delivery location with your lawn tractor immediately and without transshipment. Shipments are usually delivered in 1-2 business days.

What to consider when transporting lawn tractors?
Lawn tractors are garden tools or agricultural machines. Depending on the purpose, they have different sizes.
Thus, smaller ride-on mower can usually be transported on a pallet. However, this is often no longer possible with larger models.
Nevertheless, even larger versions of lawn tractors must be transported on a pallet. For this purpose, it is recommended to remove e.g. space-consuming packaging.
In any case, all fuels and lubricants must be removed before shipping.
Packaging tips for shipping on a pallet
You should consider the following points when shipping your lawn mower on pallets:
- Empty the fuel tank and please remove all lubricants from the ride-on mower.
- Protect all sensitive parts of the lawn tractor with cardboard boxes, special edge protectors or a sturdy bubble wrap.
- The lawn tractor prepared in this way should be placed centrally on the pallet and firmly fixed to the pallet with special brackets and/or tension straps before you have it transported. An additional brake wedge provides further stability.
Insuring the lawn tractor for shipment
When you ship a lawn mower, there is no standard insurance. In case of damage or loss, only the liability according to the German Freight Forwarders' Standard Terms and Conditions applies. Therefore, when transporting an expensive product, we recommend our in-house shipping insurance.
You can easily and uncomplicatedly add it during the booking process. This way you are on the safe side and prepared for all eventualities when you have your lawn tractor transported.
