Local transports in logistics
Definition and types

We offer our services exclusively for commercial customers, public authorities and companies. Transports on behalf of private individuals are completely excluded.

      Local transport

Transports that take place within a radius of 50 km from the transshipment warehouse are referred to as local transports. In local transport, vans and trucks with a permissible total weight of 5 to 12 tons are used. Local transports often consist of shipments to and from a depot.

Transports that take place within a radius of 51 km to 150 km are referred to as regional transports. All transports that go beyond a radius of 151 km are referred to as long-distance transports.

Cargoboard transports your goods not only nationally, but also throughout Europe. That means that our trucks are particularly often on the road in long-distance traffic, transporting your goods from A to B.
